I think my favorite part of this picture is the rings around the planet. There, yet almost not - I want to say ephemeral, but the meaning doesn't quite fit.

What did you use to create such a stunning rainbow lens flare? Is it a plugin or just some manual tricks?

Oh ya, this is the bomb. Don't stop making pieces like this. I really like the hazy, dusty hint of nebulae in the background. And the rings on that planet are the best I've ever seen. This peice is very realistic.

I just don't know how you do it! It's spectacular! ^_^ I've tried my hand at astroart but it wasn't big and flashy, just something I tried hard on and it was obviously an art picture. Yours look like photographs with realistic stuff in them. Great job ^_^

Once again I am blown away by your work...this piece, in particular, really struck me. There are so many cool subtle things about it that really catch my eye.

My main love of this pic is SO small, but it just works for me...it's the blue glow on the edge of the planet. The way it interacts with the rings of debris, the way it hides, but not completely, when going to the dark side of the planet. I don't know why that caught my eye, but it did, and it just shows that your attention to detail is truly great.

Keep up the great work!

I especially like the asteroid belt.

I just wonder, why you put it into the category "Science Fiction" because I don't see any technology in it.

If you hadn't said that it would be "just" another version of another picture, I wouldn't have noticed it.
For me this is a completely new good-lookin' picture.
