A city is all about dynamic scenes and perpetual movement. In my opinion good city and urban photography needs to capture this dynamicity, and boy, have you done that! The fish-eye effect and the blurry edges give a constant feeling of motion and rotation, the height gives the viewer almost a sensation of acrophobia and the sepia toned colors both freeze the moment and give the photo this warm fuzzy urban feeling. Knowing this place myself quite well gives this photo a feeling of deja vu, but at the same time it's new and refreshing. You've captured the city really well here, and the next task at hand will be capturing Scotland's landscape and wildlife. You know what I mean
omg...can't believe you took this photo from up top. the color scheme that you created to finish it was perfect. it looks like the fish-eye effect was created like you were looking through a telescope! that was a great.
